The Paris Saint-Germain star has been named Ligue 1 Player of the Month for October. Mbappe beat PSG colleague Warren Zaire-Emery and AS Monaco's Aleksandr Golovin in online voting to bag the award. This was the record-extending 10th time in his career that Mbappe has received the award, which puts him even further clear of Ibrahimovic (5), Franck Ribery (4), Hazard (4) and Javier Pastore (4).

The 24-year-old forward appeared in three Ligue 1 games for PSG last month, where he scored three goals and provided an assist. He had netted a brace in the club's comeback win over Stade Brestois on October 29.

17-year-old midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery was also impressive throughout last month, having provided two assists in three matches.
