It was Atletico Madrid who beat them this time around, in the Champions League, winning 1-0 thanks to a Saul Niguez strike after just four minutes.

Clearly, Los Rojiblancos were delighted with their victory, and they were in high spirits in training the day after the match. A video has emerged of the players in a spinning class, laughing, smiling and singing, clearly feeling good. It was shared by the Empire of the Kop Twitter page, who believe they are getting ahead of themselves.

Clearly, it was a big victory, but why wouldn’t it be? Irregardless of whether they just beat arguably the best team in the world, it was a triumph in the first leg of a Champions League knockout tie. What’s not to celebrate?
